| I
was born in Oregon, on the Eastside, Prineville to be
exact and could never see myself living in the
Willamette Valley however that changed when a job I
was working in California ended and I decided to go
back to College at Oregon State University (OSU) and
get a Post-Doc in Accounting which I did. By the time
that was accomplished my wife and I decided that the
kids were happy, we were happy and that
Corvallis
seemed a
great town to call home. And we have for the past 10
years 5 of which I have spent as a Realtor. This
brings my time in
Corvallis
living as
a full time resident to approximately
15 years.
My
son was born here in 1976 when I first attended OSU
and received my BS in Business Administration in 1981.
Then we moved back to Central Oregon, then to Junction
City and then to Redding CA. before moving back in
1994. Because we moved around so much we have a lot to
compare Corvallis with and we decided that Corvallis
is a great place to live
and play. The mountains are close when we want to go
hiking or just enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The
Pacific coast is close for sightseeing, fishing,
crabbing and Portland is close for shopping.
OSU is great for sports, culture events, and
education.
My
wife is currently enrolled as a Masters student in
Historical Archeology and my daughter is an undergrad
majoring in English with a minor in Chinese. Our son
is the only hold out as he recently moved to Vegas to
become a craps dealer. Besides hiking, shopping,
sports (football) I enjoy traveling (
Mexico
,
Canada
,
Japan
and all
over the
USA
) Classic
cars ( I have a great 1969
Dodge Charger). Besides being a full time agent I am
also the Reviewing Broker for our firm and a three
year member of the local Realtor Board of Directors
(Willamette Association of Realtors).
If
I can be of help to you in either buying or selling
property in the Corvallis / Albany areas I hope you
will call or Email to get the ball rolling.
